Star Atlas, built on the Solana blockchain, thrives on transparency. Every transaction – from buying an NFT on the marketplace to crafting an item or sending ATLAS – is recorded on a public, immutable ledger. This means that details like wallet addresses, transaction amounts, timestamps, and the specific assets involved are inherently public.
What does this mean for privacy? It means that while your real-world identity is not directly linked to your wallet address on the blockchain (making it pseudonymous rather than truly anonymous), the activity associated with that address is visible to anyone. This foundational transparency is a core feature of blockchain technology.
How Titan Analytics Works with Your Data
Our mission at Titan Analytics is to transform this vast ocean of public, on-chain Star Atlas data into actionable insights for players, developers, and enthusiasts. Here’s how we approach data privacy:
- We Only Use Public Data: Our entire analytics engine is built exclusively on publicly available data directly from the Solana blockchain. We do not collect, solicit, or store any private user information. This means we never ask for your name, email, physical address, or any other Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
- Focus on Patterns, Not Individuals: Our analysis centers on understanding the overall Star Atlas game economy, market trends, asset movements, and aggregated player behaviors. We track the flow of assets between wallet addresses, examine marketplace activity, and analyze smart contract interactions to provide a macro-level view of the game’s health and dynamics.
- No Linking to Real Identities: While we analyze wallet addresses and their associated activities, Titan Analytics has no means, nor any desire, to link these pseudonymous addresses to real-world individuals. Our insights are about the game, its assets, and the economic activity within it, not the private lives of specific players.
- Aggregation and Anonymization in Practice: When we present data, it’s often in an aggregated form (e.g., “total volume traded,” “average price of a particular ship,” “number of active wallets in the last 24 hours”). This method further ensures that individual activities are contextualized within broader trends, maintaining privacy.
